Intel iGPU Crashes - How to solve

Intel pushed new drivers to address the crashes when resetting a vehicle:


Driver version: 27.20.100.8280
Affected models: Intel 6th Generation CPU with Integrated Graphics (and newer)

You should be able to get them from the Windows updates or here
Or eventually also from here (Guru3D)
(Be sure to know what you are doing if you attempt to update your drivers!)

• I get "the driver being installed is not validated for this computer" when installing the drivers!
  • This happens if your laptop is using custom Intel drivers, modified by the laptop manufacturer.
    Visit your laptop's support page to get the latest drivers, if the manufacturer made them available yet.
    Forcing the installation of Intel drivers in such cases is not recommended, and is done at your own risk!

We are aware of multiple users experiencing issues running BeamNG.drive with Intel 620/630 series integrated graphics. Investigation into the source of this issue is ongoing as a matter of priority but we do not yet have an ETA for a fix. A workaround solution is to temporarely switch to a dedicated Steam branch who run the previous version of the game (0.16).

How to switch branch on steam :

1. From your Steam Library , right click on BeamNG.drive then click on "Properties"


2. Select the "Beta" tab


3. On the list choose: "igpu_crash_workaround"


4. The download will be ready to start right away
