okay so i figured it out but theres this weird thing where cars randomly slip out of gear idk if its the shifting or its a bug
You still can. You just have to do it slower and make sure the clutch is pushed all the way in. Also, you can't be angry that a vehicle physics simulator has gotten more realistic.
I flat foot shift all the time in Beam NG and still can even after the update You just have to do it right, like in real life
Use cluch assist, it barely removes realism (it just doesn't allow the clutch to be disengages until shift is complete) it makes the game more fun ngl
