Released Improved Siren Mod 3.0

    I don't mean to bump this thread, but I do want to clarify about my review in case anyone is confused about it. The Siren 19 in BeamNG is GTA III's Wail, and it is a generic police siren because I've heard it in tens of media. The GTA: SA siren audio also popped up in another game. Asphalt and Need For Speed's (NFS's) sirens are also generic, so no need to cover those. The yelp version of Siren 19 would be the most plausible option to be added if this mod were to have another major update. Sorry for any confusion caused by the review.

    I totally understand this no worries, it's just that I'm not sure where I can find a generic version like this with yelp etc without it being copyrighted. I can surely take the sound from GTA III or NFS but am I allowed to do that

    Update 2.6:
    I fixed an important issue with some modded vehicle, make sure to redownload the mod if you don't use the repo version

    As of BeamNG.drive's most recent update (V14.0), this mod is no longer functioning for me, which is disappointing and annoying, as it is by far, the best siren mod out there.

    (Edit) I found a way to fix it by clearing out the mods and folder for the previous version of BeamNG. Thanks for making this mod, it's amazing!

    I'm trying to fix it, the game update broke it, I don't know what's wrong in the code that broke it so I don't know how much time it's gonna take sorry

    I fixed the mod for the new update, you can git it right now on my github.com or wait for the mod to be uploaded on the repo (usually takes few days, less than a week)

    Nice Job! But with the new update, the UI does not work. Just thought I would let you know, Thanks for the best mod ever :D

    I fixed the mod for the new update, you can git it right now on my github.com or wait for the mod to be uploaded on the repo (usually takes few days, less than a week)

    EDIT: the update 2.8 was uploaded 18 minutes ago on the repo, you should be able to press to subscribe button within few hours (there is a delay)

    Everything is explained in how to use in the post, you can either bind a key or use the ui app

    New update:
    - Huge thanks to aesthetical 2 for the sirens!
    - Remade 80K siren
    - Remade Motorola Spectra siren
    - Remade Omega siren
    - Remade Touchmaster siren
    - Added SP Mark 7 siren
    - Tweaked volume of sirens

    Coming within few days on the repo (1 week at most as of this post)

    For me the sirens do not activate even when I click the Chase Mode on the mod's UI apps.

    Did you spawn a car which has a siren? If not did you assign a siren to it using the other app?

    Yes, I spawned a police car. I also attempted assign the car a siren but when I clicked Chase Mode touse the Siren Selector UI app nothing happened. Then again, an update is coming very soon so the issue will likely be fixed.

    No I didn't change anything to the code so I don't think it will fix the issue
    Do you have any error in the console? Some vehicles are incompatible such as old mods

    I used a Gavril Grand Marshal, but I didn't check the console, so I will check it.

    Found this error in the console after selecting a siren preset. I will check on the Siren Selector UI app now

    Error message is the same:

    "Fatal Error" and so on
