Cars like the Corvette C4 and Toyota Yaris have digital clusters. At the moment all cars have analog one's. So I thought it would be nice to have such feature in-game.

The citroen GSA would be a fine example.

Of what may I ask? That dashboard is not even close to being digital. It doesn't even have digital readouts for speed and revs.

It has a digital screen which shows the car's status, such as any damaged parts, things that may be broken etc. (it's at the top of the cluster)

True these cars have plenty of parts that can break but it's just so damn cool. Plus, it's pretty simple stuff so it's mostly easy to fix.

It's not a screen, it's just a panel with the car graved into it and lit by a light placed underneath the panel. Those small rectangles are just simple warning lights, they do not monitor any damage with the exception of malfunction of the braking circuit etc.. It all looks fancy compared to cars of the same age but it's actually painfully simple, which tends to cause a lot of confusion.

Maybe the Citroën BX "Digit" is a better example.
But yes, it would be cool to have a car with digital gauges.

Digital dashboard was standard on the Celica XX 2800 GT (and on many other Japanese cars of the era)...

Also a lot of modern cars have digital readouts. My 2015 Jeep Cherokee has a giant digital speed reading in the center of my dash cluster. I've gotten so used to it that it's hard to read my speed quickly on analog dials lol

It was a late 80's/early 90's fad here in the US. They should definitely be an option for the in-game American cars:

    '??(from the 80's) Dodge Laser

    '91 Impala:

    '95 Buick Riviera:

'95 Chevy Caprice (Most like the Grand Marshall)

'93 Chevy Blazer (kind of like the D-Series)

Same with the Corvette, it's just a panel with lights behind it, they even get burned into the plastic sometimes which causes the display to stop working.

I believe that in the C4 the lights provide only backlightning for driving at night, the actual readouts are displayed through an LCD
