    Hi :)

Out of all the cars I have made in Automation, the Initiale Vaucluse has always been my favorite design wise. But I created this car 3 years ago, on a version of Automation where you could not even think about an interior. To give you an idea, the 3d tool was released almost one year later. So this car is completely outdated, design wise, and Jbeam wise. I did some updates, but never shared them, because they were simply not good enough.

I decided to build a complete remaster, since updating the old one never gave me satisfaction. I started back from scratch in Automation, exported it, and used everything I learned about Blender and BeamNG in those last 3 years. Everything in this remaster is new, and I am finally happy with what I have, it was the good solution!

I still have a lot of work to do before the release, I am still working on the Coupé version in Automation. In fact I will still need a few weeks because I don’t have that much time to work on it. But the GTF version is quite advanced and already perfectly usable. So I really wanted to start talking about it :p

I guess it’s time to show you something:

So, what could you expect from this remaster?
    • Basically, the same thing as the old version, but way better.
    • Two chassis. The Coupé variant, designed to be as pleasant as possible while peacefully cruising on open roads. And the GTF variant, designed to be as fun as possible to drive, while still being road legal.
    • Three engines. The base engine will be a 3.2L bi-turbo boxer 6, with around 360hp. The main engine will be a high-revving 4.0L V8. Its power will go from 420hp in its naturally aspirated config to 720hp if it is equipped with the stage 3 supercharger. Finally, the Vaucluse will also have a 5.5L Diesel V8 producing 470hp.
    • Three gearboxes. A 6-speed manual, a 8-speed DCT, and a 10-speed automatic.
    • Some interior options. You will be able to choose between manual or Automatic shifters. You will also have the ability to choose the interior badge matching your motorisation.
    • The T.A. Tech. transmission is back! And it is highly improved. It is way more pleasant to use than before.
    • Custom drivemods using the adaptive suspensions parts, but also the adaptive exhaust. They will also control the T.A. Tech. transmission.
    • A wide selection of custom factory paints.

I have one last thing for you. This video will:
    • Give you a first look at the interior
    • Give you an idea of the handling of the GTF variant with the stage 2 supercharged V8 (595hp)
    • Show you the new T.A. Tech. transmission in action

The diesel V8 is almost ready!
I just need to find out why the UI thinks this engine can rev up to 8k rpm, and I need to adapt the gear ratios

Each engine will have its own weight. And it has a clear impact on the weight repartition. I don't know if you will be able to see it in the video, but the car feels way more floatty with the diesel
