Prepare for September 10th Ill update everything The Real Life Car Replicas Pack turns 1 year old! Here some WIP shots
the only suggest i have is to make them less noisy, they sound twice louder than vanilla cars and that ruin all a bit... anyway your mod is very usefull for the new traffic tool, loading 10 vanilla cars can blow up any mid-spec cpu, but not this cars
Ive put a special focus on that into the update! I released a beta version to a small pool of testers (around 7) to tell me which sounds are too loud or too quiet. I have done some serious changes to the loudness.
Update sneek peek #2 Its pretty much all set, just the descriptions left. As well as hours of packaging and uploading mods I hope you like what I'm doing ^^
The Update spam is out! The Replica packs will follow tomorrow! Here is the 'illegal' version of the Real Life Car Replicas Pack, that has sounds that I can't post in the repository. Just on time for the 1 year anniversary of this very pack, I managed to finish a ginormous update. I have added Tuning options to each and every car, revised the sounds of multiple cars - adjusting their noise levels, and also added working exhausts to all cars (yes, I know, Automation exports this from default now, but these are old exports.) As you can see, there is Transmission tuning as well as Turbo/Supercharger pressure settings available to every Aspirated car! (excluding some cars with tuning parts) All cars now feature extra configurations that give it the maximum power the Turbo/Supercharger can achieve as well as NOS and a straight pipe exhaust, and a variant that only adds the straight pipe, if you want to enjoy your backfire without having to set back the power yourself, if Maximum is too much for you. You will also have noticed the custom license plates that I made: They're just a neat little extra Above that, the Trabant and Peel P50 (In the Real Life Car Replica Pack Sequel, link below) Now burn oil! As they have 2-stroke engines, I went ahead and added this nifty feature ^^ It may be a bit extreme but hey, at least that exists now. You may wonder how I did that. Simple trick: I just gave the Piston rings 0 durability so they break upon spawn, letting the engine burn oil. A big focus has also been set on the Rimac Concept_One, with once again, more improvements. Yes, you are seeing right, the Rimac can now BURRRRN! You can now recreate the very moment, Hammond binned a Rimac on a Swiss Hillclimb stage. (Im happy he's still alive after that) The car can now catch on fire. And will stay on fire. For a very long time. A very visible change is also the fact that there also are Electric motors with driveshafts to the wheels on the car, as well as a battery and brake lines. I am planning on improving the underside of the cars on all of my cars at one point in the future. You also won't have to worry about the Lamborghini Diablo blasting your ear drums out anymore. It has been silenced quite a bit. Previously missing images of Top Speed variants of some cars have also been 'fixed' by...well...adding the images in the first place: Talking about images, here are the images of the cars with Tuning options: They are all self drawn! (apart form the no speed limit sign) To finish it off, here some pictures of all cars with tuning options!
Well yes but actually no. I haven’t done anything since the last update as I was spending my time with the Ford Focus mod (https://www.beamng.com/threads/an-automation-car-with-full-interior-ford-focus-sel-2010.66397/) and the Universal Automation Mod. I do plan to update it this year, on 11th September for the 2 year anniversary with full suspension tuning for all cars and a few other optimizations.
consider making this a non-automation car pack... it would be an instant must have. atleast a few cars of the pack
No because 1) Making a non-automation vehicle from scratch takes a lot of time to create 2) It's his mod and he can do whatever he wants with it
Nah, sorry mate, I won’t make requested vehicles anymore. I have enough stuff planned to keep me busy this entire year and still want to make some cars of my own. Also I’ll update my existing ones far in the future. I fully agree there. Like the focus mod I’ve been working on the past 6 months still isn’t done and may need another month or two, depending on how school turns out and how productive I am. I have gotten some more ideas for even more configurations Im at 51 rn lol. But what I will do eventually with the pack is make another huge update. Maybe for the 2 year anniversary, including suspension tuning and some more configs, prolly taking advantage of my universal automation mod to quickly apply stuff to them (remember, it are 38 replicas that I have to work on)
Can you make a Seat Ibiza MK4? My father drove one of these (A ST from 2010), but was selled. We had drove for almoast 10 years and was one of my first cars (when i was 17).
