Installing and Setting-Up Sidewinder Joystick Part No. X05-92626.

I'm not quite there something with the set-up, and, I don't know what it is??
The Sidewinder Joystick appears to have shown up in the "Controls Menu" under "Hardware" shows "3 devices detected" they are SideWinder Joystick; Keyboard; and Mouse.

Under the SideWinder Joystick are all the Buttons, 0 thru 8 plus Slider and X- Axis and Y- Axis
Exactly like on the physical joystick itself so it's got to be on there, ?right?
And they all respond when I doodle with them on the stick!
But and here's the problem folk nothing happens with my truck, he doesn't even sneeze!

So what haven't I done??

You need to assign the controls yourself.

 

None of the buttons are assigned actions until you actually configure actions for them
