I don't know, really. I guess they could do an "extreme" edition. Or something along those lines. Granted, they have already got that edition.
Hopefully Intel dosen't do what they did with the 990x extreme edition by charging you a whole lot more for a little more performance and a name
I still have my old Core i7 920 and X58 motherboard around. At about $300 in 2009, that CPU was a bargain. I overclocked it to 4.0 GHz on air, and it remained quite stable at that for like years, It would still run fine if I hooked it back up too. Intel Extreme Editions have always been a rip off.
