Internet Disconnecting when in game

i have a really strange problem, not sure if anyone will be able to help at all.

Picked this game up today, been playing with the tech demo a couple of days now, love it, only problem is when ever i play this game Tech demo or Alpha, it will completely disconnect every computer / Device in the house from the internet.
Only ever happens with this game and i have tried multiple things to see if it will fix it.
I have turned off the network adapter, disconnected myself from the internet prior to starting up the game. I've also tried blocking the game through windows firewall, and i have tried turning off our Modem/Routers Firewall. seems kinds odd that i cannot get any of this to fix the problem that i am having, alas i have resorted to coming to the forums to see if anyone has any other options for me to try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Well, I've just had wireshark running. The game doesn't even attempt to make any network connection at all so physically cannot cause this issue.

 

Thought that might be the case, just power cycled our modem/router and seems to be fixed, was rather odd for this to be happening haha
