Hello, i opened the game in the empty grid map and opened world editor with F11 key. I created a road with nodes but when i go in render mode, the road is invisible, only the road patches are visible. Why ?
The road architect only uses treadmarks and patches for the default templates. The asphalt has to be drawn manually using the terrain editor. But as there is no terrain on the empty gridmap (just a ground plane), that won't work. I'd recommend changing the invisible decal road that is used for the AI to an asphalt texture (if there is one available on gridmap). The name of that decal road should be "road_invisible" in the scene tree. Set the render priority to a large number, so the other textures like patches and road markings get rendered on top. You could also switch to a map that has terrain, depending on what you want to do. I just tried making a road on gridmap and my suggestion doesn't work. I think there needs to be a terrain block for the road architect to work. I imported one into gridmap and then it works: So it's probably best to just use a map that already has terrain, like Italy, Utah, West Coast, ...
