i would love for someone to make a mod for the Gavril D-series that makes it so you can select between 2 and 4 wheel drive? a selectable low range gearbox would be epic as well, also if someone could make some larger tires (like 37s or 40s) along with a lift kit that would be absolutely awesome
For rear wheel drive only, just remove the front transfer case. As for the lift kit, just put the right suspension parts on and use the tuning menu.
He is asking for a function to select between 4WD and RWD basically on the go, if you want to put your offroad truck in 4WD in real life you don't install a transfer case and take it out to go back to RWD. Unfortunately as far as I know there is no option to do what you are asking, but I expect it will be added fairly soon as it is a key part of an offroad simulation. Lift kits and larger tyres are a definite possibility, even the current options are quite adequate, but the more height the better
thank you for all the responses this is exactly what i was talking about, thank you inertia. if someone can make a lift kit and larger tires that would be awesome. maybe even add some new rims if you want to like mickey thomsons or something.
that is true. and btw if someone is going to do this mod, dont just adjust the sliders on ride height to 100% slap the stock 35s on it and call it a mod. i can do that myself. i would love some 37s and 40s as well as a front and rear lift kit for at least the d series but the more vehicles you do this for the better. also i have been craving the ability to have adjustable suspension and some diffrent tire options for the t series. not to mention a dumptruck version of it.
Pssssst. You're not the only one interested in offroading or different variations of the D series. Please mind the picture, I had to take a picture with my phone. No wifi for uploading.
not remotely true at all. All it takes is you to stop waiting on modders doing what they want to do (which might not be offroading) and learn to do it yourself
I might take some time and play around with the D series suspension and see how much ride height I can get out of it. Unfortunately I'm not too good at modelling so if I do release larger wheels and tyres they may be stock ones scaled up.
I like these ideas.... Lift kits & big tires. I'm just learning the whole modding thing, myself, but I think I may give something a try!
The front steering uses hydros, so as far as I know it would be replicating the front steering to the rear, but the controls might be an issue.
