It can take weeks to model a complex car model.
So it is a hard decision to make your .dae model in the mod package accessible for everyone.
Now my question: is there a way to lock the access to the package, and only make it callable ingame?
Lots of games do this too. If this feature does not exist in beamNG, will it ever be implemented?
    Cheers.

To make your model not accessible for everyone,

-Retrieve the ".cdae" (Compressed Dae) file in the cache folder \Documents\BeamNG.drive\cache.0.9.0.5\vehicles\ (generated by the game when your run your mod)
-Put the ".cdae" file in your mod folder
-Delete the dae file from your mod folder

The .cdae can't be read by 3d or other programs.

    Regards,
    Lo

That .cdae method is old and not used anymore.
A .dae file must be present in the vehicle folder.

Why do you want to keep the model private?
