Is it worth to buy used GPU's?

so i want to upgrade my pc.
thinks i want to upgrade:
- RAM
- GPU
- PSU
so is it worth to buy used gpus? its really expensive and some used have great deals like this:
1000zl is about 333.40 CAD or 252.80 USD
is it worth the risk?

Depending on the quality of the seller/the product, results may vary. You can save a lot of money on the used GPU market, for example if you're looking for an RTX 4090, you can find one for 1600 dollars new and used, you can find one for 1300 dollars. This isn't true with all cards, though.

 

Yeah this. I was able to snag a lightly used 3080ti at a fraction of the price of what even the heavily used ones are going for these days. Some people are shady about their use but others can provide you with receipts and such of the original purchase. That was the case with me and the seller was able to provide me with the receipts from the purchase so that if anything happened, I could make a claim via warranty. Honestly the card was so new that it even had that "new device smell" lol. I think the person used it for like a few days and put it back in the box.

I wish GPUs could keep track of "power on hours" like HDDs or DSLR cameras
