Is the 2.2 I4 in the legran/wendover based off the GM Iron Duke found in the fiero or Chrysler 2.2 found in the talbot sunbeam, dodge omni, etc?

Considering the Legran's closest IRL lookalike is the Olds Cutlass Sierra, I would be more inclined to say it has the GM 122 engine.
