I have the feeling that even the highest inertia setting for the interior camera is not enough. Can i maybe change that setting somewhere in the files?

    Thank you!

Are you trying to make it loose or more strict?

The 'Dashboard' camera is attached to a node, that will physically move around.
It is possible to make it strict until a certain point.

If you need a 1:1 thing, you should try the Relative camera instead.

I thought about having it more loose, especially when braking or accelerating. Is that possible? The relative camera is solid, so not really my thing.
    Thanks!

This is not possible to make it more loose without modifying the vehicle (which is not recommended).
At 100% the camera is being 1:1 with the node that the camera is attached too.
