so i know that the campaign and what not is far off but ater hitting 3000 hours im getting a little bored of just screwing around(No hate still a great game). So im just wondering is there anything known as to what we can expect the final game will potentially become and what features there might be? What will set this apart from all the other racers out there besides the obvious crashy physics? like what kind of game will this be? will it be just a generic racing game like forza motorsport? will go into more sim racing territory? Would it be an open world game? or will it become something kinda like that old street legal racing redline game starting with a busted junkyard car and have a ton of parts to repair and build cars with?

Or is it not known yet as to what the game is supposed to be?

Back in 2013 or so there was talk from staff members about taking heavy inspiration from SLRR but with more variety in racing discipline content.

The early videos on the official YouTube channel (including the Steam Greenlight video) back this up

For awhile it was also going to be story driven with cartoon comic strip art style (see the "A Rocky Start" campaign for how this manifested)

Of course all of this is old info and things have changed a lot in recent years, so I'm sure details have changed but it seems the general direction has remained
