So today i get a notification about scheduled updates. So I jump and immediately run to windows update and check to see if it was windows 10 update, nope. just some "security" updates, which i guarantee you there is a windows 10 update icon hidden in those 11 updates. So i began to think "is windows 10 good for me" i heard negative reviews all over the internet and positive. I also knew i don't have to pay for an Xbox 1 if I have windows 10, or do I. I'm just wondering dump my $80 windows 7 and get a free windows 10 that is still new and probably filled with bugs and a lot more complicated than windows 8 (that's why i'm still windows 7). and i don't know if my computer is compatible with it.
Also running a Gigabyte H110m-a mobo.

    For me its great!

But I used to have w8, which was awful plus my pc has 16gigs of ram and a fast i7, so I didn't experience any performance issues.

Plus now it's completely bug free, so I would say it's time!

I already have, I updated very early, but the bugs have been squashed since.

Resolved ones? Buggy start menu, not being able to shut down from the lock screen, pulsing fans, but these have been resolved and it's running great on my hp omen!

Go for the update, it's a massive improvement over 8 and 8.1, and Win7 won't be supported forever.

I knew the intellectually challenged would have problems with microsofts e3 wording. Windows 10 doesnt mean you get an xbox for free. Doesnt mean you can play xbox one games on PC either. Microsoft are just releasing games that were going to be exclusive to the xbox one in a version for each platform. So you can buy forza horizon for PC or for xbox one. You cant just put the Xbox one game disk in your PC and they arent giving you an xbox.

I idle at under 2gb RAM used, less than 7 and 8 used. Also have 10 running on a tablet that only has 1gb of RAM fine.

That's some kind of trick about ads, they are kinda supposed to understand crap if you don't think about what they just spit in your brain precisely.

Windows 10 hasn't been all that bad for me, in my experience. I was fighting KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR for a year, but that was some dust causing seating problems with my BIOS chip (My motherboard features a removeable one in case of excessive BIOS corruption.) Other than that and having to fix some odd RAM usage issues with Windows 10, nothing really that bad about it if you don't mind tinkering to change a few things so it's a little more fluid.

My only gripe with it at the moment is that BeamNG.drive is the only application still causing me RAM usage problems in this operating system. I love it, don't get me wrong, but it's confusing that every time I change maps, the RAM usage settles between 5 and 10 percent higher until I run into an out of memory error or close BeamNG. It could just be some mods I have installed, but I don't know.
