    hey guys,
im currently working on a car model. i havent done this in years (right around 3), but id like to have a go at it.
I found the isuzu 117 coupe as i was looking for some blueprints for my 98 rodeo, and i thought it was worth giving it a go.
so far, i have very little done except some of the outside. everything is ill fitting at this point and the use of subsurf modifiers is a bit scary for me, but none the less this is what i have so far.

this is the car i am modeling.

and this is my progress so far.

as you can see, its not much, but its something.
so il keep working on this in the hopes that il be able to import it some time in the future, and get it driveable.

but as for my progress, im slow. and in terms of confidence when it comes to modeling, i dont have much. im not sure when or if this will be finished, so dont wait with bated breath or anything like that.

at this rate i might get most if not all of the exterior body and panels, bumpers, and such done in maybe a week, give or take.

Nice car, but if you cant find any thing for the frame I would try to find something from a car from the same category or size.

Looking good! For now, just model the car. Better to deal with the specs later.

Also, if you want, you could make your own visual changes to the car and call it something else (sort of like the Hummer H1-like truck somewhere on the forums)

thats a pretty solid idea. il ave to look into other similar-ish coupes and look for references. or maybe frankenstein together some kind of frame from various references.

i most likely will have to considering info on this car, based on my search, is pretty sparse.
i might have to patch together (or at least loosely base) the exterior with the interior of another car, like a porsche or something
    itll be called the Isorsche.
    sounds like a disease.

    Wha...
That's... interesting to know. I literally just looked up "japanese names" and that was one that sounded good.

Anyway, glad you like the suggestion :)
