Help with replays

I finally figured out how to record a replay, but what can I actually do with it? Are there any editing tools or anything like that? Are there any programs in which I can open the replay at all? This might sound really dumb, but what does it actually do? It's the only reliable way I have of recording gameplay so I need to know how it all works.

 

It's a replay, a recording of your session. There is the (experimental) replay app, but I myself rarely use it (lack of time) so I don't a lot of that one, but with the app you have a time line like a media player, makes it easier to go scroll through it. Furthermore it's fun to record a replay and use the different cameras on it. It also records lights on off and stuff. The replay file format cannot be used by any other program. I often stream my replays with a separate (screencast/streaming) program. That makes it possible to create scenes if you like or cross fades and fade in/out.

The best way to edit replays is thus using the cameras, the replay app, a streaming program and a video editing program of which all can be freely acquired. A bit of a learning curve, I know, but once you get used to it it's pretty much fun
