Re-born by an Australian investor, Austin cars will make everything from pickups and Utes to city cars.

this is my attempt at making my own brand (i.e. own design language and not based off of anything)

vehicles to be made (it'll take a while)
    - truck (Freelander ?) / electric version (Freelamper)
    - van (Convoy ?) / electric version (Convamp)
    - microcar (imp) / electric version (amp)
    - small city car (Metro) / electric version (metramp)
    - normal hatchback (Maestro) / electric version (Maestramp)
    - small saloon car (Montegro) / electric version (Montegramp)
    - miniature faux x 4 (with proper offroading variant) (MetroX) / electric version (MetrampX) pronounced “metrocks”
    - faux x 4 (with proper offroading variant) (maetroX) / electric version (MaestrampX) pronounced “maestrocks”
    - large faux x 4 (with proper offroading variant) (MontegroX) / electric version (MontegrampX) pronounced ”montegrocks”
sorry if this takes a while to complete :)

Nope. He likely means this Metro:

Though it's probably not directly going to be a Metro.

When ever I see a Austin metro, or a Montego, it looks so weird, because I would never think that Austin preduced cars at that time.

They did for a long time...then Leyland happened and Austin disappeared

Hence why a mysterious Australian entrepreneur has spent a fortune and bought the name plate from Geely to revive it :)

Ive forgotten, are they a motorcycle company now?

meet exhibit a; The Austin Freelander County (base trim) (DO NOT RE-UPLOAD)

    HighresScreenshot00088.png
locking differentials and 4WD system with high-low range transfer case is standard fit.
    With a 4.5 litre twin-turbo i6 the Freelander produces:
    Power: 353hp @ 5000rpm
    Torque: 517lb-ft @2400rpm

my current assessment is that it needs a lot of suspension tuning and possibly fewer gears.
tell me what you think :)

Random question: does anybody know of a body style mod that would be able to replicate this sketch:

I'll see what I can do,
A car rarer than a Golden Gun, and so earth shatteringly beautiful it'll make the Skyfall

    update on the austin package...

going a bit slow, was about to release the freelander (pickup truck) but have had some snags with the jbeam and the automation devs havent answered my questions so may need to reinvent.

    The metro is done

i am modifying the names for the larger vehicles:

    freelander - Detour
    Convoy - Dispatch
