I'm working on a motorcycle mod, and I'm having trouble with the forks. What I have currently allows the forks to turn and supports the weight of the bike, but is too stiff to compress and act like suspension. Making the beamSpring weaker causes the forks to flex and twist instead of turning as one piece. Is a structure that achieves this possible with beams? Any insight would be appreciated, I only have pretty basic knowledge of jbeams.

Beams alone won't work, you need to do something like on TonyCartony's motorbikes with slidenodes and rails

to add to agentY's comment, take a look at the way the springs & shocks work on the D series/Hopper crawlers.
