Johnson Valley lags like crazy when an AI is fleeing from me.

When I have an AI flee from me on the highway of Johnson Valley, on parts of the highway the FPS just absolutely tanks for no reason, going from 144 FPS to 15-24 FPS. I have no idea why, not sure if it's the AI or because I have another car spawned. This is the only map with this issue and driving by myself works fine.

 

Hey, there is an ongoing issue with certain parts of the Johnson Valley map, most noticeably the highway, where going at high speeds results in FPS drops. Depending on how powerful your system is, the drops may be more noticeable, especially if you have a lower end PC. In your case, it might only occur with AI because you have less system resources when multiple vehicles are spawned, thus making the FPS drops noticeable.

 

Seems weird that Johnson Valley is the only map affected by it. I've played this game since 2014 and this is the first time I've noticed such an issue. Wonder what makes Johnson Valley special.

 

Yeah, mine goes down to about 15 FPS as well... It's always the same spot though, and it only happens when you are going fast.
