This is some seriously impressive work you've accomplished. You deserve far more positive comments and vibe from the community. Ideally, the AI paths would be random (the deal could be happening in the middle of the road as well), although I realise how they would be very prone to crashing. Perhaps when the AI will be more advanced. Additionally, the distance could be increased, since you couldn't memorise it.
Spotted by van at deal location. Got mad and rammed the van and flipped it. 11/10 would ram again - IGN. This was a super fun scenario. Only flaw it has is when the Bolide started fleeing I didn't know where it went but it got stuck on a bush so I won lol.

Interesting... I crashed off the side of a turn while chasing the dealer. He drove ahead slowly after that. All of a sudden, without me chasing him, I won.
That happens sometimes as the AI isn't perfect yet. I've seen him crash himself too, but the only "solution" to it is to very carefully choose a place for the chase that the AI can properly navigate (like the large road around East Coast USA), but there are so few places that I just accepted that it happens every now and then.
He didn't crash though, I did. He just started driving slower and slower after I crashed. Eventually he came to a stop as if he was waiting for me.
I have seen that happen before too, never occurred to me that that could turn into a problem, as you fail when he gets too far away. Not sure what the best solution would be, though. I don't want players to fail due to a little too much damage (like the official chase scenarios) because of the fairly long "intro" before they can try again.
i have an issue that the Moonhawk has appauling acceleration. idk why but its outrun by the van. anyone know how i can fix this? this is whenever im in the car, not just this mission
Same here. It's like it has the e-brake on all the time but it isnt. I cant catch up the van at all and the scenario will always end because the van gets away.
Seems the issue is that it's missing the differential. The part "moonhawk_differential_R_LSD" was probably renamed, meaning the game can't find it and then substitutes "Empty". EDIT: Seems that part was possibly replaced by "moonhawk_differential_R_A_LSD" and "moonhawk_differential_R_M_LSD".
Thanks for the report; even if this is a game-wide bug, this scenario doesn't use a .pc file, but manually specifies the configuration. This means the scenario will need updating anyhow. I'll add this to my todo list.
I get to the hiding spot and it tells me to watch the drug deal go down, then nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or did the most recent update break the scenario?
While the most recent update (and the one before that) did cause some issues with the part configurations, the scripting never broke. You have to stand still at the marker (if you stand in the right spot it should vanish completely) for a short while before the scenario continues, so make sure you're not accidentally moving away from it (by braking too late, for example). On a related note, the issues with the part configurations as mentioned above have been fixed (twice, because 0.5.0.0 came out) and the update is awaiting approval.
