    The lack of faces pretty much speaks for it's self.

    There is a tunnel that the faces are inverted as well.

    I think it's more a case of the terrain isn't covering the lack of faces. I could be wrong though.

    That is what I was thinking and why I said it was a model or mesh/terrain issue in the title..
