The premise of BeamNG.drive is to destroy cars, but I feel that none of the cars in the came currently are deserving of such treatment, but what is, is a Prius type ecobox, It could be called the Ibishu Dawn or Hirochi Endevour but has to be a Kammtail like the Prius because otherwise, the effect is lost, also, a hybrid drivetrain would be required because otherwise, what's worth killing, right? (Oh, dear, my parents have a 2007 Prius, hope they don't see this).
He has a Prius... (readies the pitchforks and torches) But in all seriousness, something like this is sure to come eventually.
it allows dual engine. But not inputting onto the same drivetrain as each device in the powertrain can only have 1 parent, for a hybrid you need 2 parents. A custom vehicle controller and simply having motor drive 1 axle and engine the other might work but wouldnt be accurate to many roadgoing vehicles today.
Thats a good point... I suppose a Porsche 918 could be done accurately, but I am actually struggling to think of any other cars that use that setup.
There was a Lexus SUV that did, maybe some others, but it's definitely a rarity. Bmw i8 too come to think of it.
The i8... I knew there was another that I was aware of that wasn't coming to me. The Lexus on the other hand I was completely unaware of.
