Kilometer per Litre UI option must be in BeamNG.Drive

Kmpl Is quite different and convenient than Litre/100Km. It makes you immediately know and how much litres the vehicle will run how much kilometre. The option of kilometre per litre fuel efficiency unit should bring in BeamNG UI.

 

Agree. Not commonly used but then l/100mpg is esoteric in itself but still widespread.

 

I think if anything it should be Miles per galon since that basically what everyone else uses. Only the US uses KpL

 

It is already in game, in UI Trip-Computer, where you have odometer, average speed, current fuel consumption, average fuel consumption and distance left with current fuel.

 

No, the US doesn't use KpL. We use MpG

240 / liters per 100 km = mpg (more accurate 235). So 8 liters = 240/8= 30 mpg

 

& not only that, a US gallon is different to an EU gallon.

Yep. We use miles, litres and use mpg. But datnavs use kilometers and yards here. So we think oh 3 miles, thats ages! When actually its 3km

 

It would be quite confusing for me to get a car imported from Canada because they use kilometers and gallons
