So I've been wondering a lot if there are any great maps like the Beamng standard Harbor map (not sure if that is indeed the name). But maps like the gigantic cities and other huge maps (mostly when they include a gigantic amount of props and objects) don't really work for me besides when I want the 30 mph to go as fast as 0.7 mph. Just wondering if anyone knows any good maps that don't really lag a lot where you can openly drive around. Free roaming is the name, I believe.
Grid map? :/ I don’t own the game yet, so this is just what I’ve heard, but I think Utah USA runs alright.
UTAH is a map that runs good yeah, not that very good though. The harbor map thing with water works really fast and has a lot of good terrain. The grid map doesn't have anything and I meant that the map should have things in it, but not too much.
Alright, unfortunately, I can’t help you any longer now cuz I’ve only played Gridmap, on the tech demo
I don't really want to lower any settings, one of the main reasons I bought the game is because the graphics were so amazing...
When it comes to lowering graphics Think of it this way: have great graphics or have bad FPS or lower graphics a bit and have good fps
that's not entirely true, my game is 100% lag free as long as it's not a gigantic city map which includes an extremely great amount of props and objects. The game works fine as long as the map isn't huge in content. My question was which maps aren't huge in content.
It’s a gigantic city. When I first heard about it I was expecting tons of lag, and I was right, even with lowest graphics possible. There are some small map mods that get good fps, like Garfield Heights, I get 30-40 fps in that map
