Lag spikes on Linux

    I've recently switched from using Windows 10 to using Pop OS 21.04. Beamng works fine until the level loads. The game lags every 5-10 seconds. I've already tried using proton 5.13-6, 6.3-7, and experimental and it still happens in all of them. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance
