LAG

when I updated beamng drive i have a lot of lag is there a fix?

 

turn down the settings? get a better pc?

 

I have a good alienware pc that worked lag free last update now it just laggy for no reason

 

Specs?

What settings are you trying to run it at?

Have you tryed deleteing you'r cache folder in Documents\beamng.drive?

Have you tryed Vertifying integrity of game cache in steam>rightclick>properties>Local Files?

 

My specs are i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70 GHz 2.40 GHz 8 GB RAM WIN 10 64 bit
and I am trying to run on high which is what I ran before 4.1.2

 

if you startup gridmap and press "J" does the fps increase?,
have you tryed to set windows to "high performance" in the power manager?

do you have an nvidia graphics card in your pc?
If yes then right click on desktop then press nvidia control panel > Manage 3d settings > program settings > find beamng.drive.x64.exe on the list > select it > select the preferred gfx processor for this program > select nvidia high perfomance > press apply

Thats because you most likely only have one gpu.
What cpu do you have?
Do you also have performance problems? or what is the problem you're having?

 

Never had performance issues in this game on high till this update, I do have another issue though, It isn't reconising my Processor as a Quad core, which it is, a AMD FX (tm) - 4300 Quadcore..
