I would like to make a map of my town, however my town is approximately 8x16 km. is it possible to make a map this size (i have 64 GB of ram), and if i were to do this could i import a contour map and build it off of that? (I don't care how long it may take i just care if it is possible)
Yes this would be possible. It will be less detailed than smaller maps but working. Also, yes you can import a real heightmap and a satellite map to build upon. Read throught the forums and YT tutorials that should answer most questions
