So I made a model using Mecabricks which is a Lego type modelling website. I exported it as a .Dae and opened it in blender but I don't know how to move on from there. I tried reading the tutorials but they are all outdated. Anyone can help or lead to good up to date tutorials?
You are acting like you think it's easy to just put a car in the game... There's a big chance that this thing isn't even compatible with BeamNG in its current state (looks high poly but not smooth), and even if it is, you would still need to spend a few months on getting it to work in game properly, and also due to it having more parts that can fall off than an average car, it could even take a whole year. The car looks cool though. Idk if there is any tutorial, you should rather find someone experienced (not me) and ask them everything.
Yeah, I know it is quite hard, but it is possible. Maybe I should just leave it to a professional? But it would still be cool to simulate breaking bricks and pieces Is all I think.
If you know what you are doing, then you can try it yourself, but I would get a professional to check if this model is any good for BeamNG. If not then either find another program or model it yourself from scratch.
Update : OK so it looks like the model has way too many vertices, but i dont know if thats an issue yet. Waiting for beam to update so i can see if I've successfully put it into the game (non driving that is). Update 2 : YES... bbut i have so much more to do
