Unsolved Limited Beams

    I tried searching for this, but no-one seemed to have asked this already. Is there a way for a bounded beam used in suspension to be limited in retraction/extension so that the beam doesn't compress fully, aka it can only shrink to 0.5 of it's size before being unable to shrink further?

    Yes, absolutely

    In the above:
    • Pre-compression : How pre-compressed the spring is when spawned
    • beamLongBound : Adjust how much it can be extended
    • beamShortBound : Adjust how much it can be compressed
    Then:
    Code:
    {"beamLimitSpring":5000000,"beamLimitDamp":125},
    Adjusts how that limit (boundary) is enforced. So the above would be a hard boundary.


    Finally, always make sure to reset this afterwards. Otherwise any following nodes will also have these values applied to them
