Little red circle (I have video)

I have seen this circle everywhere, It even appears in my videos randomly, on the dashboard in first person view.

I'm probably completely wrong. I believe it might be from a currently unsupported features, such as triggers. Since they don't do anything, I believe they just emit a light on the dashboard to show they're working properly?

 

I thought it was something for the race gameplay that's being worked on. Whenever i passed through that finish line on the race map, red dot appeared on my car.
