Hello everybody, If you were a BeamNG player from 5 or more years ago with some knowlege of this very forum, you may have stumbled across a Toyota Prerunner (which is not branded as a toyota though) mod, which was made at great quality for the time the devs of this mod did such a great job! Due to the mod not being updated for 5 or so years, it's obviously gotten outdated because of ahem 0.27. Well, not really. The update really broke the tires, which became no material for some reason, and were really easy to fix for some reason Some of the LUA stuff has also broken. The old BullyDog screen on the dash powered by LUA broke and since I have little knowledge of how LUA works and, even worse, how to fix it. So I've had to remove it. If anyone has the knowledge to fix it, I've left all the files related to the little rascal. There is a strange error remaining for it, and it seems that there is a hidden trace of a json file pointing to it. Although it only shows in the log, it dosen't effect gameplay at all. and yes, I am allowed to do this according to the original mod author, and if you want, I can send a screenshot of it Planned PBR materials, which is in the works Possibly more models from the SP Dunekicker (LED lights, maybe digital screen) More engines, maybe bigger ones or lore friendly ones. We'll see I'll think Photos (please please please let me know if links are dead) Also, here's a video of the custom black gauges I made for it. Let me know if anyone wants a config for either black or white gauges. New thumbnails are included btw Credits Original mod - @James2406 - Mesh, textures, design, skins Original mod - @Stoat Muldoon - Jbeam, some minor meshes and textures, skins Me for something? Enjoy
Been working on PBR on the body and although it's not finished its looking tons better - let me know what you think (grey textures for the grill and mirrors are temp) Ref image of the original non-PBR body
Love to see a mod like this revived. Already starting to run it against the D-Series Prerunner and the dunekicker (the suspension feels so almost outdated lol. it's definitely showing its age)
Yeah its getting a little old with all the new offroad stuff now, but the devs did a really good job for the time when it was made.
