Load Custom Car Configurations In-Game?

I can't seem to find a way to load my Custom cars from the "ESC" menu in-game, after a level is loaded. Is there a way to do this without having to go back to the garage, load the car, and then save it as default?

Yes, there is. Just go to Settings>Gameplay and there should be an option called "Show custom configurations in the vehicle selector"

I know this is an older thread, but I just wanted to point out that they moved that button to the UI options now.
