It would be cool if you can strap the entire load instead of coupling all the nodes to stabilize it...like in farming simulator..maybe not a strap but even a key can be pressed to fix the loads from falling off..it would save much time.
I 1000% agree. We should have a way to do it without having to use node grabers since they are so buggy and never work perfectly. Will make transporting cars loaded up much easier.
I agree, coupling the load to the trailer or bed and then getting into a rollover or a crash the load will stay, NOT LEGIT! but i think adding straps would be amazing put more realism into transporting cargo. Node grabbing does not work well with keeping thing with the trailer/bed unless you want to make it stay on all the time... But 100 Percent agree with this.
This has been there at least from 2016: https://wiki.beamng.com/JBeam_Introduction#Ropables 2015 it was mentioned to be on TODO list: https://www.beamng.com/threads/i-miss-something-in-this-game.18611/#post-287635
On the topic of ropes, read this too; Which I originally posted here; https://www.beamng.com/threads/tow-truck.59226/#post-970705 I imagine that with using some fancy node coupling trickery and some rope objects attached to a flatbed, you could have crude but functional load straps.
