Logitech G920 configuration

Just got a Logitech G920 (xbox/PC model), installed "Logitech Gaming Software" (windows 10) and although it is listed as a supported controller with automatic configuration, out of the box the behavior is strange:
- Pedals are switched (brake is throttle, clutch is brake)
- Force feedback is extremely subtle
- Many buttons don't do anything

I started down the path of changing bindings but stopped after needing to invert the pedals etc. figuring someone here may already have a working configuration they may be able to share with me.

I'm also curious to know if other G920 owners have changed any defaults on the Logitech side.
