I bought a headset because my 5th TurtleBeach headset broke, one lasted me 2 weeks, and the first lasted me 3 months, now I have 5 broken TurtleBeach's that still have insurance! XD but i'm never buying one of those again, so I went to buy an Astro, then I didn't because it was $90 to ship to Australia. so I bought a Logitech G930, and I hear its good, but what rating do you give it? if you have one of course, and is there any problems that I should be aware of? also, very anoyingly, I went to an Australian store online, (same place where I bought the Logitech headset) and I saw the Astro A40 for $30 more than the Logitech, the Astro A40 went on speical 1 day after I bought my headset and it was only $5 shipping D: my damn luck
I have a pair and like it, but the earcup hinges do have an issue which makes them prone to breakage. Do not rest them flat on the desk, hang them on something to alleviate stress. I use the corner of my monitor. If one ever fractures and you notice it, tightly wrapping it with tape should prevent it from fully breaking. Drivers are hit and miss, with every version seeming to have different problems than the last. Go through a few releases and pick the one that annoys you the least. Other than that, I haven't had issues.
Thank god a while back I bought some hooks that go on my wall, I used to hang my headsets on them but then my wirless one broke, and hanging up a corded one was a nightmare, I will try and hang the headset up on them, and as long as the headset works and doesn't echo sounds that my pc is making through my mic, I don't care
i also use them , and even though they are wireless they have incredible sound and the mic is okay too. but listening to music or youtube videos while taking a shit is most likely the biggest plus
