Lossless scaling in VR/Vulcan?

    I have a 4070/i14700KF/64. I get 140+ fps in 2k on ultra, but only 45 fps in VR. Does Lost with scaling even work for VR/Vulcan? I understand since I have a KF CPU I may need to add a second smaller GPU, but I'll gladly spend $80 vs $800 for a 5070 that may not even do much better.
