Hello, i'm here just to talk of East Coast, USA. The problem with this map is the fact that it blow my fps away... I got an RTX 2060 with an 1440p 75hz monitor. On most of the maps i get a constant 75 FPS, but on maps with too much trees, bushes (East Coast, but also the new small island) i can't get more than 60. So i was wondering if it was possible to 'optimize' these maps.

In what way? Like, turning down the quality of the meshes (Grass, Trees, Bushes, etc.)?

But the the thing is, that the church place also make my gpu have a hard time. And i don't want to turn down theses textures.

I’m on much lower hardware specs than yourself, but I never thought East Coast was badly optimised, I get around my usual 40-60fps on there on “Normal” with my GTX1050ti, and then around 45-50 on Small Island.

In my own opinion West Coast is the least optimised for my system due to how much is on that map, getting around 30-40 fps (which is about 5-10 less than even Italy.

Also, if you are running 1440p, is that the resolution your monitor supports. I run on a 4K Display with the game at 1080p due to my GPU not able to run 4K, with a few tweaks in Nvidia Control Panel, it runs fullscreen too, but if you wanted more frames, try lowering the resolution to 1080p, the gap between 1080p and 1440p isn’t that much to myself, but thats due to me not being used to running at higher resolution than 1080p for games.

I have a rx 550 and the only maps I can get really good fps are gridmap, matrix freeway, and sometimes small island on lowest setting. it would be nice if there was an optimized version for maps cuz a lot of people have low spec pcs

That is true yea, the devs try very hard at optimisation, but BeamNG is very intensive due to the significance of constant calculations in regards to Jbeams and nodes for physics, so low spec pc’s would always struggle due to the nature of the game.

My pc specs (in my signature) aren’t the “lowest end” but I would consider it probably the minimum for an enjoyable experience on atleast low-normal graphics. Specially since my 1050ti is 3 and a bit years old now.
