So this is a little mod I did quickly and for fun after watching Roadkill. It's meant to behave like the Roadkill Monte Carlo. It's somewhat WIP, and I might put the offroad wheels on it some day too. EDIT: BeamNG Update broke this mod by taking up the F1 key for help menu, now there's no 4 keys together left on the keyboard therefore I will not be able to make this mod work in the future, sadly. Old post continues from here... Keys are somewhat awkward because it's impossible to use keys that actually make sense but I did my best. TYGH in that order = front left down, front right down, front left up, front right up. F1, F2, F3, F4 = rear left down, rear right down, rear left up rear right up F5 = Reset all hydros to "normal". F6 = Set whole car in lowest position F9 = raise whole car. So to make it hop, you press F3, F4, and then alternate between TY and GH. I know someone will tell me I shouldn't use Mediafire, but I prefer it. It gives me more control over my files and the upload is much faster and I don't need to leave that extra window open while I'm posting and then forget to close it or whatever. Download Install by extracting the ZIP(so copy the folder inside it!) in: BeamNG Userfolder\mods\vehicles\ That's where I've installed mine, and I can't guarantee that any other type of placement works. (And yes, I still won't make it so you can just drag and drop the zip, because I refuse to make folders inside folders inside folders inside a zip because copy pasting the folder works fine, and it allows people to easily use my stuff for reference if they want to learn). If you want to use any parts of this mod for anything you want to make, something you want to release, please ask about it first. As long as you give proper credits, I'll give permission. But ASK/let me know first, it's just the decent thing to do, just letting me know is pretty much enough, just means I know if someone is using my/Dummiesmans stuff . Credits: LUA by Dummiesman All Jbeam changes and rim model by me(Mythbuster). Rims are Daytons, 13x7 inch, 100 spokes, reversed style. They should be pretty accurate. Bodyshell + tiretextures by Gabester(obviously) Jbeam changes list(which is why I can't just release it as a mod for the regular Moonhawk): - New rear axle arms - Body reinforcement in same style as a real lowrider/hopper is usually reinforced, plus door gap reinforcements because the frame and body start bending in half real quick. - Frame reinforcement - Motormount butchery to make it move like the one on Roadkill - Screwed up front allignment to make it like the one on Roadkill - Realistic weight in the trunk for 7 big batteries.(about 200kg) - I had to make the suspension nearely indestructible because otherwise the suspension and body would slowly collapse/deform after each bounce, which is not what a real one does. - Slightly limited slip diff, to be able to drive it on 3 wheels when 1 rear wheel happens to be off the ground.
Reading, my friend. T'is a difficult task. Same applies to the tires on the roof, though that may end up being a bit harder and less useful but meh.
You know how to create a folder right? Right click create new folder under \Documents\BeamNG.drive....Name the new folder "mods"...enter the mods folder...right click create new folder...call this folder vehicles...now extract what you downloaded and put it in the vehicles folder...
This is it. This is what matters. Mythbuster is my new favorite person. 10/10 -ign. 10 -GameInformer. 100/100 -Meta Critic.
