When you activate a mod through the mod manager, the mod's Lua extensions and global functions/variables don't get loaded in. The same thing happens when you add a mod to the "BeamNG.drive/mods" folder while the game is running. The only workaround I know is pressing Ctrl + L to reset Lua but I don't think many people know that.

I'm pretry sure the same thing happens with textures or materials, unless there's a workaround. Like if the mod has a skin and you activate it and try to use it instantly it will just make your car white, restarting the game fixes it. Is there another way around this issue too?
