    Interesting, My plates have terrible res when I zoom in too. I hope there's a fix for it.

    The licence plates look low resolution when you zoom in is because the base resolution you make them in is small. The resolution you make the licence plate in is 512px x 256px and from far away you cannot notice the low quality. When you zoom in though you notice the bad quality.

    One can choose any resolution for the plate (although not recommended to go much berserk on that or you sacrifice performance)
    The actual image texture of this licence plate is kind of low-resolution (I suppose an higher-resolution one was not available/found)
