The number one rule when you hear sirens is to not brake, but thats the only thing (next to moving a tiny bit right) what they do. This is verry unrealistic and just makes for anoying behaviour. While im at it, the highway behaviour of AI should also be changed. Currently they just hang in whatever lane, this should be changed to trying to stay right. (Also them not braking on mountain roads could bet quite nice but thats also more map design prolly)
Thank you DamienDutch for shining light on this problem which has been been bothering me and many others alike for many years. It is just plain irresponsible for the AI to act like this in such a critical situation. So once again, Thank you Mr. DamienDutch for pointing out this glaring flaw in the BeamNG.Drive game design. An oversight which should have been revised many years ago but never has and thus undoubtedly lead to many unhappy people and unfortunate sitatuions. Ever since I installed BeamNG.Drive this problem has been in the back of my mind for the past year and a half however I like many others have been too afraid to point out, with fear of ridicule. Thank you for being brave and standing up for us whom can't stand up for our selves. Be it due to fear or other reasons. You Mr. DamienDutch have my Like and Agree vote. I wish you best of luck with this noble cause --- Post updated --- I would like to revise my statement as I now must regretingly admit that I was flawed in my statement of giving "my Like and Agree vote" as it is only possible to award someone with one of these votes. Alas you do have my Agree vote though. Thank you once again Mr. DamienDutch. Sincerely Fish Gamingf
Its a current byproduct of how the developers are trying to implement ai to pull over safely to the edge of the road, a system they want to add so that traffic clears out of the way of fleeing suspects. however currently it is rather bugged and can be more harm then good in many scenarios
