As of right now fire only pops the wheels. It would be cool if it could overheat the car, and melt the electrical parts. Fire is certainly an immersion breaker for me right now.
Fire already overheats the car and pops the tires. As for melting the electrical parts, that could be a headache to code in and whatnot.
