Making an Electric Automation Car

    Small tutorial:
    1. Build the car. (Don't use turbos nor an exhaust tip, but use a Dual-Clutch Transmission)

    2. Export the car and unpack it.
    3. Delete (vehicle)\art\
    4. Go to (vehicle)\vehicles\(vehicle)
    5. Open "camso_engine.jbeam" with the text editor, add 16000, 190.00 to the rpm and change the maximum rpm.

    then press ctrl+F and click the search button for "exhaust".
    Edit the "particulates" from whatever number to 0.000

    Delete "//Exhaust Sound/back fires" and everything that follows till "//cooling and oil system",from the code.

    then press ctrl+F again and click the search button three times for "gearbox"
    and delete everything that follows the third number, and set the third to 2.00.

    8. Save and close the file.
    9. Open "(vehicle).jbeam", press ctrl+F and search, again, for "exhaust".

    10. Delete the line of code that "mainexhaustmesh" is in.

    If you want to add sound, download the sounds.zip and extract it to (vehicle)/vehicles/(vehicle).
    Open up hatch_sounds.sbeam and press CTRL+H.
    Replace "name" with your cars name with the help of the window.
    NOTE: Only change the "name" in the filepaths!
    11. Save the file and close it, then pack everything into a zip.

    Hey. I try to make the electric car. but i dont understand then press ctrl+F and click the search button for "exhaust". Where? Cuz i entered in folder and then i hit ctrl+f and search exhaust and can t find it. (im in camso_engine.jbeam)

    You have to search in the file camso_engine.jbeam. I messed up the photo there.

    Need some help, overall the electric performance work pretty well, however the sound is just nonexistent (except the friction and aerodynamic drag), what went wrong?

    You didn't put the sound files into their own folder. Also, you didn't change the hatch_sounds.sbeam file.
    Should be fixed now: (btw. nice car dude!)

    I tried this, and the sound still sounds like the engine sound, just revving higher. Also the top speed has been completely ruined. Why has the top speed gone from 130 to only 60? I followed all the instructions as written. Is this based on what the first gear top speed is?

    Have you deleted the art folder? Did you add a new line to the rpms [20000, 324]?

    You can also just send me the file.

    I need help: i did all to one of my mods but every time i try to spawn it, the loading says error.

    The mod is "2017 Tesla Model X". Yesterday after that i removed it from repository so the file is totally cancelled but I'll try to remake it later.
    As now, the only thing i remember is, after i edited the file, the jbeam files has the text editor icon:(

    It doesn't affect anything if the jbeam File hast the text editor icon.

    Also, doesn't your Version of the Tesla Model X have exhaust Tips?

    You need to export the car again without these fixtures on.

    So i must pack and remove the car from the game and re-export it from automation after i edited the files?

    You have to delete the edited file. Export the car from Automation without the Tip fixtures and edit the Files again. But I can do that for you if you send me the car without the exhaust tip fixtures.

    As now there's no need because i want to do It myself, maybe I'll send you the screenshot of the car if you want it.
    Here there's the current version without the exhaust tips.

    So now i need to tell you that i followed your advice, i did everything possible but the loading still said ERROR, after changing folders to place the mod in the game, but it didn't appear anymore, also unpacked.
    Now i don't know what to do anymore:( and i've lost hopeness. Now if you want i'll send you the original file (with no exhaust):
