every time when i try doing it and i save it i go back into the file and its back to normal why doesnt it save my work???
Are you editing the zip file directly? If yes, you'll have to unpack it, then do everything and then repack it the correct way (car.zip/vehicles/car).
Hi, I'm not sure if you will & it's fine if not but I've been struggling to figure out why my vehicle won't work. I think I've followed everything correctly (but it's 4am for me & my brain is smooth right now). When I load the vehicle into Beam it gives me the dreaded "load in safe mode" stuff & the gauges appear blank, but when I go into the vehicle config & deselect the transmission option the gauges work & the "engine" revs up (although can't drive). I'm not sure if it's something transmission related or not but I can't figure out what the issue is.
You changed the engine type to 'electricEngine' which doesn't cooperate with the transmission. You would need to make a completely new shiftLogic lua if you want to have an electric vehicle with a transmission. I only disguised the combustion engine as an electric one, so I basically worked around that.
i tried it but it still refuses to save im trying everything and trying a couple times but it doesnt work
@DaddelZeit srry to be off topic but do you know why the all the configs of the FCV are just stuck in 1st gear forever even when I try to manually shift?
