Hello I love the game Beamng Drive my friend and I have and Idea of a game called Beamng Drive 2 with real car companies and the customs brands of the cars because I am tired of downloading mods for the game so can y'all make Beamng Drive 2 please.
1st off, real car brands wouldn't work because of licensing reasons, and the whole "we don't want our cars to be destroyed in games" 2nd off, why should they make it? they can keep improving on regular BeamNG, which mind you, isn't even out of early access don't download from ModLand or places like that, use the offical forums, or the in-game repo the idea of a "BeamNG 2" doesn't make sense
In all honesty, a second BeamNG game, like a spinoff as the user above mentioned, may not be the absolute worst idea. This may be an insane stretch, but hear me out: BeamNG has a very underutilized potential for sim racing. The only things it's really missing are official multiplayer support and an actual structure. Think about it; we already have a few racing classes, from road racing stuff like Super Touring, Group 5, and GT4, to Gen 1 and Gen 2 stock cars, to even off-road stuff like Class 5 Beetles, trophy trucks, World Rally Cars, etc. With an actual structure and ranking system for racing I think BeamNG could go after the big competitive racing games like iRacing and AC Comp. Who knows, we could even get licensed cars, considering Audi does work with BeamNG.tech. Again, huge stretch, but it's possible.
several things: what would the spinoff be called? there may not be official multiplayer, but there is always BeamMP it's possible, but I doubt BeamNG.drive will compete with other major racing/car simulation games (I would love to be wrong, though) today, I learned that Audi collaborates with BeamNG.tech
Despite what the SEO industry wants you to believe, the name doesn't really matter. BeamNG.competition is good. The big issue with BeamMP is that it's very janky and is held together by caffeinated hopes and dreams, plus it was leaked that there is multiplayer in very very early development about a year or two ago. Not sure if we've heard anything since then. It probably won't compete with major racing games, but I believe they are trying very hard to be the driving simulation game, both for casual consumers/enthusiasts and for the entire automotive industry. Yeah, they've been using BeamNG.tech for a while now. A few other BeamNG.tech partners are Bosch, UC Berkeley, and Waste Management, and BeamNG.tech is also at a lot of technology expos around Europe. You should check out their blog, it's pretty interesting.
lmao that will never happen. --- Post updated --- BeamMP exists because the devs don't want to spend a second or extra dollar to give the community what it wants: dedicated servers with official multiplayer for all. If you were around from 2017 on here, nobody thought multiplayer in BeamNG was even possible because THE DEVELOPERS walked around claiming it was "too impossible" by way of omission. They couldn't care less then and that hasn't changed. Several years later, modders banded together, came around, got fed up of the situation and made multiplayer work. The devs had zero input in that happening and basically told them to f off, every step of the way. You'd be foolish to think the devs want to improve the game in a big way. The only way BeamNG.drive changes pace is if BeamNG.tech gets bought out by a military company that they keep pinning for. That's where the money is.
I don't think it's a bad idea, just unoriginal and it sounds like OP is like 14 years old and probably forgot his password already
