Could anyone explain why in my game the chrome parts are not chrome? Mainly the logo on the grill and the exhaust box, they are just a kind of matte white. Already tried several times to delete the cache but it doesn't help
I can't believe it's taken this long for BeamNG to have a proper firetruck. Thank you so much for putting in an incredible amount of effort into your work (as well as mentioning Australia for one of the truck's description)

yes very capable, as it can pull 52tons up a mountain, but it would be different and fun to play with some stronger engines

you are everywhere nadeox xD sorry for the childish behaviour, but there is something i dont understand, why cant we tinker with the mod? I can edit t75 files just fine but for example here i increase a single torque value(one of the lower rpm ones) from 340 to 350 and suddenly truck wont load anymore. Is this some sort of protection so mod cannot be slighly changed and uploaded to somewhere else? Or is there anything i should do to edit the files correctly?
Maybe you break .zip file or something
For editing files best option is unzip vehicle folder, edit file you want, make new .zip (best in winrar or 7zip) and drag vehicle folder to this new .zip file.
is it possible for it to have engine braking? because i have trouble on long descents with the brakes thx
use reverse gear as brake lol
If you want to edit mod files easily, go to ingame mod manager, find this mod and click the 'unpack' button. (Or 'unzip', I don't remember exactly)
Your files will be located in documents/BeamNG.drive/mods/unpacked/
I have not read through the thread and therefore do not know if there is a background behind that request, but diesels IRL do not have engine braking torque. Instead they use "jake brakes" to simulate that effect. There is none that does the jake brake in BeamNG AFAIK.
excuse me @MRcrash is that fire truck box going to be a little bit smaller than normal box becasuse when i was on italy map there was somethink like gate without doors to fire dp building and the box couldn't go on the second side XD but only a little bit
use the clutch or manual trans mode
