I will make it change automatically depending on the frame and engine.

Yes, it will be used in combination with various upfits and frames.

I was in England last week, so there was not much time for any progress. But after seeing how many midlift trucks are there, I decided I must do one too.

From my understanding, they have a lowered chassis (by bringing the axles closer to the frame of the truck) and smaller profile tires (60 profile as opposed to 80 used normally) so that they fit taller trailers with lower hitch mounting points (like the Krone megaliner and Schmitz S.CS mega), this allows for more volume to be transported while remaining in the 4m height restriction over most of Europe (I think UK has no height and scandinavia has 4.4m height limit)

There are TGS lowdeck versions as seen here (they are pretty rare though):
    download.jpg IMG-20160319-WA0015.jpg
As you can see in the first pic, the top of the rear wheel cover is missing, this is common on lowdeck trucks as there is little room under the lower trailer to fit the truck, but there are versions that have the full wheel cover.
The mudflaps are also shortened so they don't rub the ground

There is no reason to implement the lowdeck version of this if you are not considering making a custom trailer specifically for this chassis (like the Krone Megaliner previously mentioned) as the normal trailer mounting would be too high for the lowdeck version.

This pic shows the difference in both trucks (even if it's the more common tgx) and trailer for the lowdeck (left) and normal versions (right): mega_liner_multos_head.jpg

I might consider making the low deck. Shouldn't be too difficult to make.
    These have ~11.75 inches width.
